Job Title: Asbestos Quality Manager
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £45k – £55k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent company expansion, our client is seeking a switched-on and highly experienced Asbestos Quality Manager, to join their office in the South East of England. You will be responsible for the mainteance of company-wide compliance and standards, through auditing and quality assurance checks. The role is within a UKAS accredited outfit, who has a strong presence in the South East of England. Applicants must have a successful track record within the industry and robust technical knowledge, in order to hit the ground running. Experience / Qualifications:
* Experience working as an Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager within a UKAS accredited outfit
* Must be qualified with BOHS modules, including: P401, P402, P403, P404, P405 (or RSPH equivalents)
* It is preferred that candidates will hold the CoCA and / or CCP
* Excellent technical knowledge, including UKAS and HSG guidelines
* Strong literacy and numeracy skill level
* Comfortable using IT software
* Strong eye for detail
The Role:
* Maintaining the compliance of completed Asbestos Analysis works within a UKAS accredited outfit
* Completing auditing and quality assurance checks on completed works
* Leading toolbox talks and training for internal staff members
* Providing ongoing technical support to staff members
* Ensuring the company adheres to UKAS guidelines
* Investigating any non-conformities or issues and implementing plans / training to avoid a repetition
* Completing detailed technical reports to record completed audits and findings
* Managing daily operations within the business, ensuring a smooth workflow
* Implementing new processess to improve internal procedures
