Quality Manager – Education & Inclusion
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Car Allowance: £3,600 per annum
Location: Homebased with national travel and regular overnight stays required
We are supporting a growing organisation in the education sector with the appointment of a Quality Manager – Education & Inclusion. Due to continued growth and acquisitions, this is a newly created role within the organisation’s Quality team, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to help shape and develop the position.
Reporting to the Associate Quality Director, the Quality Manager will play a key strategic role in supporting Inclusion Pathways provisions to deliver high-quality education and positive outcomes for children and young people. The role focuses on driving consistency, quality and continuous improvement across a diverse range of education delivery models.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Work in line with the organisational quality strategy, developing, maintaining and reviewing quality assurance policies and procedures across all education services.
Plan, conduct, analyse and report on quality assurance audits, using findings to drive continuous improvement.
Collect and compile statistical quality data and analyse it to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with internal teams in relation to quality and regulatory matters.
Provide guidance, coaching and support to services to promote high standards and consistent practice.
Devise procedures to collect, analyse and report quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement.
Investigate complaints and non-conformance issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up and learning.
Monitor compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, including Ofsted and Estyn, ensuring new guidance is communicated and embedded.
Review external inspection feedback and internal audit outcomes to support ongoing regulatory assurance.
Identify training and development needs and contribute to the delivery of training, workshops and forums.
Present written reports to Directors of Education and senior education leaders.
Undertake project work, ensuring agreed outcomes are implemented effectively. About You
Essential
Level 5 vocational qualification in education (or equivalent preferred)
At least 5 years’ experience working in or alongside education settings
Experience in quality inspection, auditing or compliance
Knowledge and experience of working with regulators, inspectorates and external verifiers
Experience implementing corrective action programmes
Full clean driving licence and access to a car Desirable
Experience working within trauma-informed, SEMH or SEND settings
Experience delivering or quality assuring Functional Skills or alternative accreditation programmes
SENCO qualification (NASENCO or equivalent) Benefits
