We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager or Senior/Lead Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in their career to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing organisation.
to join an aerospace manufacturing business, reporting into the General Manager.
You’ll lead the Inspection Team and take ownership of the QMS, ensuring compliance and right-first-time delivery across the manufacturing process.
Key responsibilities
– Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (AS9100 / ISO 9100)
– Act as Management Representative for all quality matters
– Lead and develop the Inspection Team (workload, performance, training)
– Oversee inspection & verification at all stages of manufacture
– Own Calibration, Testing, Qualification and associated approvals
– Create/approve FAIR / LAIR documentation (VisualFAIR experience ideal)
– Plan and conduct internal/external audits (AS9100 / ISO 9100)
– Support continuous improvement and participate in management reviews
What we’re looking for –
– Strong aerospace quality background (essential)
– Recent, hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience
– Confident with engineering drawings & specifications
– Audit capability (internal/external)
– OASIS experience (preferred)
– Strong communication, attention to detail, and Excel/IT skills
4 DAY WEEK – Monday–Thursday, 37 hours/week (06:45–16:30)
